Backyard gardens are a great addition to any yard or park area.
Why do we plant flower gardens?
We plant flower gardens for many reasons.
Gardeners use many different types of plants in their flower gardens. They use trees, shrubs, bulbs such as tulips or daffodils, and rhizomes such as irises. Two of the most common types of garden plants used are annuals and perennials.
Let’s take a look at what the terms annuals and perennials mean and look at examples of each type of plant.
